Our School in Haiti
ECACEB [Ecole Amour Celeste des Bayes)
(translated: Community School of Heavenly Love)
For over thirty years, ECACEB has strongly held true that access to quality education remains key to Haiti’s social and economic development. Educworld is helping to provide quality support that will bring educational literacy to modern levels of 21st century standards. At ECACEB, no child in Dufailly Haiti is ever turned away. A minimum family contribution of $50 per year is requested. The remaining tuition costs are subsidized. Should a student meet unexpected financial hardships, scholarships are provided. 100% of all students who remain in Dufailly at ECACEB will complete primary education. Children are guaranteed financial support to complete primary education even though ECACEB is a private school and 100% of all graduating students are placed in secondary schools, a rarity in Haiti. More than 60% of students who attend primary school at ECACEB go on to post-secondary school. t secondary education, a novelty for Haiti!
Sponsoring Students
Tuition Assistance
Donating just $25 per month for ten months covers the $250 cost of school for the year for one child. For an additional $10 dollars per month, that child would also receive a nutritious meal during lunch, something that is uncommon in Haiti. For a gift of $350, you can educate and feed a student for the entire school year. That’s just $35 a month for ten months.

About Education in Haiti
Why ECACEB is needed
When it comes to going to school, the future for many Haitian children is not bright:
· Over half of Haitian children do not go to school (about 1.5 million children)
· Approximately 50% of rural children ages 6-11 will never go to school
· Over 80% of the schools are private making it very difficult for parents to send their children to school.
· When they do go to school, only 35% of Haitian children reach 6th grade, the rest drop out due to financial hurdles
· Only 1% of Haitian students go on to post secondary education
About Educworld
Educworld is a non profit organization dedicating its resources, time and talents to affect positive changes in children's lives in Haiti. Throughout Haiti, children don't go to school because their parents are simply too poor to afford the cost.
Please join us as we seek to change the trajectory of educating students in ways that will effect society at large and young lives in particular.
